This is a pretty rare version of Yamaha acoustic family. Made in Taiwan circa 1970s, the vintage Yamaha G 230 delivers an excellent sound with warm bass and clear trebles. The sound board is made of Cedar which attenuates the medium low frequencies and delivers an immediate attack and a not indifferent warmth to the sound. Solid mahogany back and side which is tending to dampen the bass accentuated by the sound board, making the guitar very balanced. The neck is made of Mahogany and Indian Rosewood make it very smooth fingering. The bridge is made of Rosewood which is very sturdy, solid and excellent transfer the sound from strings to soundboard.
