City. \577/ and also: F.W. Woolworth Co. 443. E, Tremont Ave. New York. N.Y. \577/ These stencils are in good condition for their age. They have minor differences between them as seen in photos. Edges are worn from use and storage. Front is pretty heavily inked with signs of brush strokes around the outer edges of the inked area , more brush strokes are seen on the one with E, Tremont Ave. All the stencil lettering is intact and easy to read. On the back of the one marked "F W Woolworth & Co." there is the number 577 written boldly along the bottom edge, which I believe is the store number. *$2 bill is for size reference and is not included in the sale. Answers to Questions We get on These: 1) Material is a Sturdy Oil Board. 2) There is an inky scent to some of the heavier used stencils. If you are sensitive to some smells, please keep this in mind. 3) There is only one of each location. Winner will be the only person to own the stencil for that address. 4) Dimensions seem to be an average of 5 inches x 16 inches.
