The Western Clock Manufacturing Company made their first pocket watch in 1899 and continued to make affordable pocket watches through the 1970s. The Westclox Pocket Watches were originally sold for $1.00 and from the 40’s through the 1970s and more people were carrying Westclox’s than any other pocket watch. The later Westclox Pocket Watches manufactured after the 1930s did not have a jewel movement and where riveted in place are and not designed for repair.
