Description: This beautiful pair of vintage Super Skates #1450 were made by Steven Manufacturing Co and date back to C. 1960s. The original box, with original price sticker, is included. The roller skates fit Adult sizes 5 - 12. They were advertised as America's first and only slip-on roller skate requiring no straps, no skate key and no clamps. Size can be adjusted by loosening the wheel on the underside of the skate. Skate body and wheels are made of metal with a shoe strap of black hard plastic. The skates are in good vintage condition with very minor rusting. They have been used and show wear and scratches on the wheels and shoe guard. The original box has strong bright graphics but does have some damage with creases and wear, especially to the edges. As can be seen from the photos, the skates and box are very decorative and would make a wonderful display piece or photo prop.
