Description: This is such an amazing abstract farm scene oil painting. The artist added some techniques that show some texture and shadowing that add a nice contrast to the overall presentation. The color choices are also note worthy with an overall muted teal blue and green landscape punctuated by the red roofs on the white farm buildings nested in the trees. The artist - noted as Hunter, Claudius (sp?) 2002 on the back - shows real talent in this abstract presentation of an everyday Americana rural scene. The piece is currently framed in a simple wood frame that is stained a light color with a high glass finish. It has minimal surface nicks and scuffs and the corners are still tight, and it compliments the piece well. There is a simple metal hanging ring on the top edge. The painting itself is in very nice vintage condition. No chips or marks in the paint and no loss of color. It is painted on particle board with the signature on back in black marker.
