Description: An SGC graded EX-MT 6 – 1968 Topps card of Hall of Famer Gale Sayers of the Chicago Bears. From 1964 to 1967, NFL cards were produced by the Philadelphia Gum Co. and AFL cards were produced by Topps. Sayers' rookie and 2nd year cards were released in the 1966 & 1967 Philadelphia sets. 1968 was his first appearance on a Topps card. This example has no creasing, excellent color, good focus, bold printing and bright borders. The corners are consistent with those found on most EXMT+/NM examples, with the exception of a light ding on the lower right corner. The printing on the front is shifted to the bottom, but the card still displays well. The printing on the back is shifted close to the bottom edge, but otherwise the back is clean with bold printing.
