(lineman normally are the ones who want crotchplates added on) I had letter from Philadelphia Eagles, but lost it...or cannot find it, as again, has been stored for about 20 years. I got this jersey about 20 plus years ago...and has been stored away those 20 plus years. per the letter, the name plate was sewn on later and not game used/worn. Why exactly , not sure.
