Follow the lives of this successful Southern family in the 1940s. Newspaper clippings mostly from Greenville SC about military/war/political things during WWII, the Avent kids and grandkids as they grow up, go to colleges, write plays, become doctors, marry, partake in fundraising like Dance a Thons, excel in sports, host “Ladies day Bridge luncheons”, becomes published poets and educators and high society. A truly interesting family! There are a couple of pages with handwriting in it that look like genealogy or family history. VERY fragile. Will be wrapped up in plastic and bubble wrap.
