Description: The Philippines 100 Piso banknote is part of the 2013 issues. The note commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Shell Oil company in the Philippines. It is purple and blue in color and measures 160 x 66 mm. The obverse side shows a Black Shell 100 TAON 1914 2014 overprint, Manuel Acuna Roxas, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas seal, and Roxas lowering the United States flag and raising the Philippines flag on 4 July 1946 in Manilas Independence Grandstand. The reverse side features the Old Central Bank of the Philippines building and the new Central Bank of the Philippines headquarters building in Manila. This banknote uses a windowed security thread with demetalized 100 and solid security thread and contains a watermark with a Manuel Roxas design. This note is also in uncirculated condition and authenticated by Banknote World experts.
