Description: Fresh from a Queens, New York City estate, we have a pleasure to offer you this Rare PAIR of Antique English Renaissance Carved Walnut WAINSCOT ARMCHAIRS. Phenomenal quality, made in England in late 19th early 20th century. Fine curves, joints all plugged, made of healthy vivid color walnut. Backrests feature superb leaf carvings on raised panels. Each chair has a fine quality custom made pillow for the seat. Armchairs are both in good condition, showing light age / use wear with couple of antique repairs (please see photos). The chairs are 44" tall backs, 23” widest point, and 23” deep, with 18" wood seat height, and 20" height with pillow (cushion is 2" thick). This set is a great collection addition, a gem in any office or home, in traditional or mid-century modern setting!
