Description: For sale is an aesthetically pleasing antique primitive shaker style bench or stool with very attractive old splint weave. The bench has an old dark stain which covers the splint. The stain has some alligatoring which hints of it's older age and lends a lot of character to the piece. The weave is strong with minor cracks that I can find. It would still be functional and would bear weight. The bench is very sturdy and stable and constructed without nails. Would look great in any primitive hearth display.
