This keyed alike set (one key works both locks) comes complete with the two locks necessary to secure the trailers coupler latch and the ball mount to the receiver. The two locks are described in detail below. The receiver hitch lock features the NEW Push To Lock Security - no key required to lock, simply push the pin into the swivel locking head. Component #1 The straight portion of the shaft's length is exactly 2-7/8" long. This chrome plated steel lock protects from theft when securing the ball mount to the receiver. The lock comes with two pins, fitting 5/8" & 1/2" diameter receiver holes. 5/8" diameter pin fits 2" receiver tubes, Class III / IV, 10,000 lb. load rating. 1/2" diameter pin fits 1-1/4" receiver tubes, Class II, 5,000 lb. load rating.
