The small books were designed to fit into a working man's pocket. Emanuel Haldeman-Julius and his wife Marcet published the books to foster ideals of American socialism and basic education to the working classes. The covers are stained, have chips, and some of them are starting to detach from the stapled binding. The inside pages are secure. There is writing on the front cover and a 1.5" split on the spine of # 367. The pages are tan consistent with their age. Please look at the pictures carefully. Feel free to send questions.
