Description: This is a seedling fig tree found in the Sacramento River Delta by Me I named it Island Punch. This wild seedling grows on an island in the Sacramento River delta on a slope towards the river, access to this tree is very difficult as it is on a 10 foot drop this tree is well worth the effort . This fig produces fruit from July through September. The skin on this fig is like leather , chewy and also able to peel away. This fig produces a very intense berry flavor , texture is very dense and seeds crunch release some nutty aromas. I do not know if this fig is common , you will receive 2 fresh cuttings per order.
