Description: Hi... This stunning vintage art glass ashtray/bowl is a beautiful piece with a very unique organic, asymmetrical blob-like shape, stereotypical of Chribska glassware. The very subtle yellowish clear color glass with its glossy finish was hand-formed in the 60s in Bohemia, Czechoslovakia. This ashtray is suitable for cigarettes or put it to use as an elegant decorative bowl. This original Chribska piece is a production of designer Josef Hospodka and features a design that showcases the brilliance production technique of free formed hand-blown glass. The piece is a one-of-a-kind organic art glass that's reminiscent of a frozen ball of water is suitable for any collector of mid-century modern decorative pieces. The piece measures 6.5"x 6" x 3.5" in height, and weighs 3.5 lbs. This heavy little hard to find bowl is in very good condition. No cracks, chips, stains. All around in beautiful condition. But it does show some surface scratches on it's base from years of being loved.
