Description: Note: this plant is NOT a variegated cultivar. 'Variegata' is the species name. Live bare root Haworthia Succulent as seen in photographs. Haworthias are a succulent plant native to South Africa, and are not cold tolerant. Must be kept inside during winter in temperate climates. A single variety can display many different colors and forms in response to their environment. In general: lower light, more water and nutrients will cause them to stay bright green with thick fleshy leaves. More direct sun, little to no nutrients, and less water will cause them to grow more slowly and become very colorful- with bright red, orange, or yellow foliage depending on the variety. Haworthias are rather sensitive succulents that require carefully timed watering, well draining soils and containers, and special care when increasing light levels. Not recommended for beginners. Returns are not accepted, but if there is a problem with your order after receiving it, please contact me directly. I am also happy to answer any questions about caring for Haworthia plants.
