It shows 3 beautiful views of: 1. Assistenhaus (= Home of the assistant) 2. The Tobacco Plantation, which was stopped in 1901 3. Krankenhaus (= Hospital). Stephansort was founded in 1888. Since the 1920s it does not exist anymore. This postcard was published by Verlag der Deutschen Kolonialhauses. This postcard was sent to Germany in 1898. So it is more than one HUNDRED and 20 years OLD. The red and white 10 Pfennig DEUTSCH NEU-GUINEA stamp is still attached on its back.Cancel: STEPHANSORT DEUTSCH NEU-GUINEA. However some slight cornerwear and a slight waterstain on bottom right they do not affect the pictures (see scan) and it is still a great collectable. Condition: good.
