Description: Payment | Shipping | Policies Frank Lloyd Wright Midway Enameled Grey Steel Table & 4 Chairs by Cassina Frank Lloyd Wright's design for tables and chairs for the famed (and lost) Midway Gardens in Chicago were never actually produced because of budget reasons. Few were made. In the mid-1980s, they were produced to the original design and specs by the Italian firm of Cassina. The frames are made of enameled steel, with the table having a thick square glass top (Wright also used round table tops in his designs for Midway). The chairs have been reupholstered in a fabric of greys and white - the original would have been a solid color. The table base is stamped 'Cassina No. 0370 Frank Lloyd Wright c. 1986 FLW Fon'. All in exceptional condition - no enamel loss, or issues with the frames. The glass is excellent as well, with only a few minor scratches from use on the surface. No chips. The fabric is clean and without wear. Measurements: Table - The glass top is 47" square, and is .5" thick. The table with the glass is 27" tall, the metal base is 26.5" tall and is 20" square. The chairs are 34.5" tall. The back is 16" across. The seat is also a 16" round. The height of the metal seat base is 16.5" high, with the cushion, 17.5".
