Description: New condition Food Saver Game Saver Silver. Bought from an acquaintance who said it did not work very well. We have three expensive Food Savers and we are experienced with the operation so I had an idea how to fix it. VERY SIMPLE. You reverse the lower foam gasket around the air chamber and clean the newly exposed surface. Same for the top rubber gasket. The gaskets simply pull out of the channels and are pushed back in. I reversed both gaskets (turned inside out - that is, the surface that was at the bottom is now the exposed surface). Now this thing really sucks! Pictures show a frozen chicken breast sealed in this machine after reversing and cleaning the gaskets. For 12V DC operation, the instructions say to only use a Food Saver 12V DC adapter but I suspect that any cigarette lighter plug to barrel plug 12V adapter “might” work. I have not tried this, the unit works perfectly when plugged in to 120V AC. TERMS: U.S. sales only, no international sales.
