Description: ================================================================================== FLEETWOOD CACHET - SET OF SIX (6) RARE FIRST DAY COVERS IN ALBUM - 1980, 1988-89. ==================================================================================This is a Fleetwood booklet with the following six (6) First Day Covers from Great Britain: * 1980 - The revised rocket (strip of 5 stamps) * 1988 - Edward Lear (souvenir sheet with 4 stamps) * 1988 - The Armada (strip of 5 stamps) * 1989 - Industrial Archeology (souvenir sheet with 4 stamps) * 1989 - Greetings (strip of 5 stamps) * 1989 - Lord Mayor's show procession All FDCs are in great condition. The Greetings FDC features a strip of the Special Occasions stamps from January 1989 and are probably the most valuable 💲 of the lot. The first two album pages have an impression of a letter that at some point must have been in this album. Looks like it reads "Dear Subscriber ....." (see last two pics). Not sure where I got this booklet from but I was not the original subscriber 😄. I inserted two pieces of paper in these locations as a precaution. The FDC's are inserted past these two pages and are not affected by this. Please note this will ship with USPS parcel select ground because it weighs more than 1 pound. (see details below) ================================================================================== Why selling: I'm selling tons of stamps and FDCs from mainly Hungary, Austria, Poland, USA and The Netherlands acquired during many years of collecting in the 1970s through 1990s when I was living in Europe. I haven't touched the collection in over twenty years and want to give them a new home where someone has time to enjoy them. I'm hoping some stamps will complete someone's collection or will be a start of a new hobby for someone else. I will be listing items for the next several months. Please check back for more items! Condition:Stamps will range from MNH to Average Used. I will describe the condition in more detail for each stamp/FDC/collection as I post them. I cannot open sealed commemorative items to take pictures. Shipping:I try to get the items in the mail within 2 business days of receipt of payment from eBay.Most small items will ship USPS. I will use eBay envelope if item category allows it. Anything bigger will be carefully packaged in padded mailers or boxes and ships via USPS or UPS. Combine Items:I can combine shipping on multiple orders. Will send a combined shipping invoice or if you already paid for multiple items will issue a shipping discount. In general each item will cost an additional $1. Base cost is determined by the item with highest shipping price.
