Description: This is an opportunity to own an apparently scarce piece of history minted between 198-222 AD. This is a genuine ancient coin, struck in bronze, and in the exact condition you see pictured. It appears to feature a portrait of Elagabalus or Caracalla on the obverse with legend and Δ in wreath on the reverse. It appears to be similar to RPC VI 8099 but not exactly. The legend appears to be the same on the right side of the obverse. It seems to be similar with a couple of extra letters on the left side of the obverse. The reverse is nearly identical. If you read the description of 8099, there are questions about which ruler it is. I believe this coin looks like Caracalla. I do not see an exact match in RPC but 8099 is very close. Grading is subjective. In my opinion, this coin is VG. Please look at my other NGC graded ancient coins and raw coins that I have listed.
