Description: Listing is for one pair of custom-built audiophile bookshelf speakers. These are an one-of-a-kind older prototype from a custom build. Only quality components and materials used. 12 Liter cabinets constructed from 3/4" thick stock with real walnut veneer and rounded hardwood edges. Each speaker weighs almost 20 pounds! Durable black laminate on the front baffles. Low frequency 7" reference woofers with black anodized aluminum cones and phase plugs. The high frequency drivers are AUDAX 1" Titanium injected tweeters with integrated grilles and extended aluminum trim rings. The crossovers are custom-tuned for this sealed enclosure and utilize some Bowers & Wilkins components. The result is tight punchy bass, warm mid, and clear highs but tamed with no shrill. An excellent speaker for varied types of listening. Includes the black fabric grilles as shown. The speakers are also a bi-wire/bi-amp design, so I'm throwing in a FREE set of gold spade/banana jumper wires to accommodate a single amplifier setup. Condition is used but very good with some minor dings and scratches. (see pictures) No original boxes, but will be carefully packed and insured.
