On the inside seams are beautifully wrapped in silk satin ribbon so no raw edges. Wool yarn embroidery on the sleeves. Huge pockets – my tablet slips in easily. Clean, immaculate and utterly charming. I considered shortening it about 6-7 inches, mainly to grab enough fabric to make a belt, but changed my mind because I doubt I can duplicate the craft that went into wrapping the edges in ribbon. The wool is a little fuzzy, and I’m not certain If that’s from wear or by intent – since it’s consistent throughout, I tend towards intent. Sleeves are a little longer than wrist length. If I lived somewhere cold, it would not be for sale. 30” wide across the underarms and top of pockets in back, the front sections are 21” wide top of pockets tapering down to 17” wide at the hem. 47“ long nape to hem. 28” across the shoulders and sleeves are 19“ long. The collar is 15” tall from neck seam to ribbon-wrapped edge. I provide all this information so that you can get it and love it, so I hope you use it.
