Description: AQUA-JET VENTURI - BLACKThe Aqua-Jet Venturi is a fantastic addition to a pond as it injects air into the pond water to ensure adequate aeration without the need for an extra pump or power cable to run it. The venturi simply connects to the pond outlet. By using the flow of water being produced from the pond circulation pump, it creates a vacuum that will suck air in from the atmosphere and mix with the water inside the venturi, making bubbles that increase the amount of oxygen dissolved in the pond water. This is beneficial for fish, plant life, biological filtration and will reduce the build up of dissolved toxic gases. The venturi can be fitted to any pumped system. Depending on the output of your pump, simply push the small funnel (high output pump) into the rear of the main body. The venturi body has an outside diameter of 43mm on both ends. If you are planning to attach this to a 43mm solvent weld pipe of fitting with an outside diameter, you will require the addition of a 43mm straight connector (please see our product archive). Soft Nose A venturi soft nose is a protective rubber moulding that attaches to the front of your venturi body. This ensures when the main venturi body is located in your pond fish will not come into contact with the front of your venturi body, therefore not damaging them in any way. The soft nose simply pushes onto the outlet of the venturi (the soft nose is available separately, please see our product archive).
