We took photos inside under florescent lighting.Lovely, dainty, vintage end table or lamp stand salvaged from Northeastern PA. It is made of a solid hardwood and retains its original stain and finish. It has an round top with scalloped edges, a finely-turned pedestal, and a base with 3 thin, curved legs.Originally, the table had a feature allowing the top to tip to one side (flip-top). Since then, the keeper or receiver plate for the lock was removed or lost, and the base of the table was bolted to inhibit the top's movement. Our carpenter said that the feature could be restored if the bolt is removed. However, unless a keeper plate is added, the top will tip to one side everytime something heavy is placed on one end.The table just has nicks, light scratches, and spots of worn finish here and there--typical wear for a used piece of furniture. However, there are no breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, or warp. Our carpenter thoroughly inspected the table and found no repairs to make nor anything to reinforce.
