Description: Antique 1930s Bias Cut Handmade Lace Silk Wedding Gown Bridal Dress Cream V-Neck Long Sleeve As Is. This extremely well-made liquid satin antique gown is strikingly gorgeous and unique. This authentic wedding gown from the 1930s is in amazing condition for its age. It is wearable or can be used for design inspiration. The bodice of this spectacular antique wedding dress is constructed out of finely-made lace. The art deco seam work around the waist and hips is extremely impressive and it compliments the construction of the sleeves beautifully. The attached belt hooks in the back with the original crescent moon-shaped metal, rhinestone and plastic mother of pearl buckle. The side seam closures are hooks and eyes as well as snaps and the hem along the entire train is completely sewn by hand. There are even two loops under the skirt to be threaded with a ribbon to create a bustle. This dress has not been laundered and there are some areas of staining, predominantly on the right side about 18 inches long and on the satin portion of the sleeves. Due to the shortness of the side seam closure, the wearer must have a very narrow shoulder and ribcage for this dress to be worn and put on over the head. Replacing the closure with a longer zipper would allow for more flexibility. There is one small tear under the back side of the right armpit which can easily be fixed and is shown in the photos.
