Description: Listed is a wonderful piece of Roseville pottery. This vase is one of older lines called Victoria Art, introduced in 1925. I bought it because the design on the border was very Egyptian to my eyes. The vase is 6 inches high and 5 inches wide. It has a beautiful combination of matte glaze colors beginning with a dark brown, adding medium browns, and black to the border design. It is stamped with the Roseville Rv, which is partially obscured. It does have 2 small nicks on the base, hardly seen when place on the shelf. The small white numbered tag was an inventory number and will be removed. There is one other color combination for this design, that being mainly grey with green and blue in the border design. Very few of this design seem to be available today. It is time for me to move on and share some of my ceramic pieces to others who will give them a good home.
