Description: 19th Century Antique Hand Painted German Miniature Wall Clock Dollhouse Collectible This unique miniature clock has a face made of wood and has a hand-painted scene showing a Bavarian-style country house. There is a small outbuilding seen to the left, and a mountain in the distance. The painting has chipped away at the top and in various places but the scene is still very readable. Below is the attached black metal clock face, with silver printed numbers and the word, "Germany," printed above the 6. There are two moveable brass hands on the clock. A brass key accompanies the clock and fits into a keyhole at the "6." The wooden face of the clock is attached to a brass gear house, from which two miniature weights, chains and a small pendulum hang down through a bottom slot. There is a removable back and the pendulum working is visible when opened. The clock currently does not work, but is a precious keepsake and beautiful antique miniature collectible.
