Storytime Favorites is a collection of classic tales and parables including: The Shepherd's Boy and the Wolf, The Golden Goose, The Story of King Midas, The Elves and the Shoemaker, The Hare and the Tortoise, The Owl and the Pussycat, The Brave Little Tailor, The Fox and the Grapes, The Wolf and the Seven Kids, & The Lion and the Mouse. Each of these stories is accompanied by several full-color illustrations, along with some black and white pen drawings by Anton Loeb. There are illustrations on every page! Anton C. Loeb (1908–1984) was a cartoonist, illustrator and theatrical animator. Loeb worked primarily as one of Paramount's lead theatrical cartoon Background Painters in the 1950s, and then moved on to TV animation in the 1960s.
