Description: 1891 JL Hudson Co. Antique Sofa Table Rare Detroit MI Gorgeous Gem Old Gateway. Okay this is some story about this little table and the survival that it's survived throughout the years this has been in my family for my entire life it was my mother's mother my grandmothers. It's from Good Old Detroit Michigan by the JL Hudson & Co. This little table is going to be hard for me to get rid of but times are pressing that I need to do so. This table survived the Hudsonville Michigan tornado in 1956 it was an actual rare F5 tornado with 300 mph winds in a mile wide wall that came right at Direct Hit on my mom's house when she was 8 years old she got sucked into the furnace pipe and the wall caved in on my grandmother's back. My Uncle Dave was okay but the house was completely obliterated. And wouldn't you know that one of the few remaining standing items that survived that massive brutal Finger of God, yes indeed was the Gateway sofa table, and not only did it survive but look at the condition that it's in!! I named her Petra K after my mother and my grandmother. She also survived a category 5 hurricane hurricane Ian just recently as well!! What a backdrop story behind this table the true Wizard of Oz and Dorothy and Kansas twister esk type story behind it. I ain't letting this thing go cheap so anybody that wants it is going to have to pay for it otherwise I'll just suffer through financial issues rather than get rid of it at a cheap giveaway I found that these Gateway sofa tables are extremely expensive and mines from 1891 truly spectacular and all of its form and I think the photos really doing in justice of how beautiful Petra Kay really is.
